    Welcome to the BYSA Football Homepage.

    The Blanchard Youth Sports Association would like to thank everyone who assisted, attended a little league football game, or helped out in any way this 2011 football season.  We appreciate your support and couldn’t have done it without you.
     
    BYSA especially wants to thank Coach Craig, the high school football program and its coaches for their continued support and patience.
     
    The 2011 Blanchard Little League Football season was again a success.  The 3rd, 5th and 6th grade teams all won their first round playoff game and competed in the in A-Bracket of the Deepfork Valley Football Conference.
     
    The 3rd grade, coached by Ty Deaton, took second place in the conference after losing to Prague in the championship.  They played hard and had a great season, finishing up with a 10 win 2 loss season.
     
    The 5th grade, coached by Shane Redman, ended up taking 3rd place overall in their division with a win in their final playoff game against the Jones Longhorns.  Their Season record was 9 wins 3 losses.
     
    6th grade, coached by Dan Sharp, ended with a  their regular season with a 1-7 record and entered the playoffs seeded #13.  They moved into the A-Bracket when they upset the 4th seeded Seminole Chieftains.  In the second round of the playoff the 6th grade faced the 5th seeded Noble Bears.  The Lions held the Bears to a 0-0 score at the end of regulation.  The bears made it across the goal line on their final play of OT and ended the 6th Grade Lions season with a 6-0 loss.  The 6th grade will end the season ranked 8th out of 17 associations.
     
    The 2nd and 4th grades lost their first round playoff games and competed in the B-bracket of the Deepfork Valley Football Conference.  Both Teams lost their second round playoff games ending their season.  Both of these teams started off slow but improved greatly by the end of the season and are looking to have a much more successful season next year.
     
    Six players were picked from the 4th, 5th, and 6th grade teams to compete in the Deepfork Valley All-star Game.  These players were chosen by the opposing teams coaches who then turned in their votes.   The votes were tallied at the end of the season and the players with the most votes were chosen to Play in the All-Star Game.  The opposing coaches chose an Offensive Lineman, Defensive Lineman, Offensive Back, Defensive Back and a MVP.  The All-Star Games will be played Saturday November 19th at Newcastle the first game will be a second grade exhibition game starting at around 9:30 am.

    The third grade also had All-Star players chosen to play in a 3rd grade All-Star Exhibition game.  Those players are:

    Congratulations to those players on being recognized for their hard work.
     
    We thank all the parents who brought their kids to practice and drove them to the games.  WE couldn’t have done it without you.  Thanks to everyone who came out and supported Blanchard Little League Football.
